The Southern California Mountaineers Association is proud to steward Echo Cliffis in partnersip with our friends at the Access Fund - Jeep Conservation Team, Stronghold Climbing Gym, and Sender One. The Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area (SMMNRA) was deeply impacted by the Woolsey fire and now volunteers are needed to help with fire restoration work.
Adopt-A-Crag work days are planned for two consecutive weekends:
Join us for one or more days over the two weekends to support the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area as it recovers, and to help lay the groundwork for future partnerships to maintain Echo Cliffs. Projects will include access clearing, downed tree removal, and erosion mitigation/prevention work. Plan to bring your own lunch, wear work boots or approach shoes, bring work gloves, sun protection, and plenty of water.
